We are happy to announce that a new release of GroIMP is available on https://download.grogra.de
Some the highlights of this new version are:
- The new asset libraries that provide modellers with a range of useful items, including textures, shaders, light specifications, or growth functions.
- New types of shaders (GGX & Ward) and sky models improving the quality of light simulations.
- The parameter manager allowing us to separate data and code to keep an overview in larger project.
- User defined patterns that can be used to define graph patterns once and reuse them in the whole project.
Additionally, this release includes the first versions of:
- The parser for XL U1.6: a new and improved version of the XL parser with new features such as units and value ranges.
- Secondary graph management with parallel executable graphs in one project, based on multi-threading.
